  • Anders Mjåset is the founder and CEO of Mesh Community, Mesh Collective and main owner of The Hub. He has been a central part of the Nordic startup ecosystem since Mesh was founded in 2012, supporting Nordic founders with services within space, network, talent and funding.

  • NEA is one of the world's largest and most established venture capital firms. It was founded in 1977 and has over $25 billion AUM. To date NEA has invested in over 1000 companies - with more than 250 of them going public or being acquired. Luke Pappas is responsible for their European operations and will tell the story of how NEA (and Venture Capital in general) grew from a local niche phenomenon in the 70’s into the globally established asset class it is today.

  • Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) launched in 2009 with a new approach to venture investing. Previous accolades, thought leadership and early investments into companies like Facebook, Twitter, Skype and Airbnb led to the firm's rapid rise. Today a16z is seen as one of the leading VCs globally, with over $42 billion AUM, and investments into a series of era defining companies.

  • Aaron founded SVB Capital 23 years ago and was the managing partner until it was acquired by Pinegrove Capital Partners in 2024. Aaron’s impact on venture lending and startup financing has been substantial and he now serves as the managing partner of Pinegrove, with $10 billion AUM. The fund invests in fund-in-funds, venture debt funds, venture secondaries and also does direct co-investments.

  • Erna Solberg is the former Norwegian Prime Minister (2013-2021) and leader of the opposition & Conservative Party. We have teamed her up with the VC legend Karl-Christian Agerup. He is one of the Northzone founders and has been a key person in the build up of both StartupLab and Antler. He is also the chairman of Schibsted, serves on the board of NATOs Innovation fund and he's an LP in several VCs.

  • The Nordic investment powerhouse, EQT, with $250 billion under management went into venture in 2016. EQT has become a key multistage fund for scaling tech companies in the Nordics and beyond. Why did they go into venture capital, and what is their take on the Nordics and Europe.

  • Successful founders in the Nordics have gone on to start some of the most exciting VCs in the region. Dreamcraft, started by Jesper Søgaard, is one of the best examples of it.
